While the company has been heavily focused on residential real estate since its inception, Mr. Caiola’s development expertise spans a number of different commercial real estate asset classes, including multifamily, office, and retail projects. Notably, Mr. Caiola has played an integral role leading CAIOLA’s recent expansion of its third-party property management and asset management service lines.
Apart from his real estate leadership, Mr. Caiola is a partner in Caiola Productions, a four-time Tony® Award winning theater and film production and investment company. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the New York City Center and The Bay Street Theater, as well as the Cultural Center in Sag Harbor, New York. Alfred Caiola has more than 35 years of experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, development, and management on behalf of CAIOLA Real Estate Group. Throughout the course of his real estate career, Mr. Caiola has overseen the development of more than 25 major residential and commercial development projects in the New York City market. In the years following CAIOLA’s $690-million property disposition to Blackstone Real Estate Partners and Fairstead Capital, Mr. Caiola has led the company in reassessing and modernizing its business strategy to adapt to the evolving conditions and demand in today’s residential and commercial real estate marketplace.
Mr. Caiola is a long-time supporter of St. Jude, Save the Children and Make a Wish, and is a member of the Building and Grounds Committee for Friends Seminary School in Manhattan. Additionally, he is an automobile collector and enthusiast, and competes in both professional and amateur automobile racing.
Mark Mignani has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and redevelopment. Mark received his Master of Real Estate Development from NYU, as well as his Bachelor of Business with majors in marketing and management from Griffith University. David Ma has more than seven years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in real estate technology and asset management. During his time at CAIOLA, David has focused on implementing new systems for assets under management, evaluating investments, and restructuring more than $200 million dollars of debt. Prior to CAIOLA, David worked for Ten-X, the largest online commercial real estate platform. David is a graduate of New York University with a M.S. in Real Estate Finance and B.A. in Economics and Psychology. David was part of Dali-Lama honorary committee.
As the Controller of Caiola Real Estate Group, Jay focuses on transactional taxation, general accounting and a full range of sophisticated business planning. With over (25) years of expertise in both residential and commercial real estate, Jay has garnered a reputation for his ability to employ creative solutions to achieve success in the most complex of transactions.
Nancy Carrion has led multifamily leasing for CAIOLA since 2002, as the company activity acquired and repositioned properties throughout New York City. Nancy specializes in renewal management, advertising, pricing, negotiation, and lease preparation. Additionally, Nancy spearheads property management initiatives for CAIOLA, including construction oversight, building regulation, and maintenance.
Jacqueline Gonzalez has more than 17 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate. At CAIOLA, Jacqueline manages the accounts receivable and accounts payable department, and oversees daily leasing activity. Marie Ruffino has worked in New York City commercial real estate for more than 30 years, since joining the CAIOLA team in 1988. Marie specializes in full-service property management, including tenant relations and maintenance supervision. Additionally, Marie oversees or advises on government agency relations, legal issues, insurance policies, project bidding, and property registrations, permitting, and inspections for CAIOLA.
Michael Centanni has 20 years of experience in New York City commercial real estate. Prior to joining the CAIOLA team in 2011, Michael was a licensed real estate salesperson for Prudential Douglas Elliman and Benjamin James Real Estate, as well as a licensed mortgage broker at New York Mortgage. Michael received his Bachelors of Political Science from the University of Scranton.
